What we collect

When you call, text, email, or message us, we receive the information you choose to share: your name, phone number, email address, the content of your messages and voicemails, and anything you tell us about the support your family is looking for. Calls to our number may be recorded, and you will hear that notice at the start of the call.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to you, to arrange and provide the non-medical end-of-life doula support you ask for, and to keep basic records of our conversations. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Text messaging (SMS)

See our Text Messaging Terms for details.

Who processes your information

We use a small number of service providers only to operate our phone, text, and email (for example, our telecommunications provider, Twilio, and our email provider). They process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own marketing.

Health information

We are a non-medical doula practice, not a healthcare provider. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep messages and notes only as long as needed to support you. You may ask us to delete your information by emailing [email protected] or calling (208) 248-8806.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above.

Texts and voicemails are not monitored for emergencies. In an emergency, call 911. For an urgent medical need, call your hospice's 24-hour nurse line. For thoughts of suicide, call or text 988 (veterans, press 1).
